Our Baby

Antonino Vincenzo Piscitella was born at 6:49pm on June 3, 2005 at Chandler Regional Hospital, in Chandler Arizona.  Antonino was 8 pounds 2 ounces, 21 inches long, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Update on Antonino
Antonino is 2 1/2 years old now.  He never ceases to amaze us with the things he knows and understands.  He has an amazing vocabulary in both English and Italian.  Although he mostly speaks in English, he understands both languages very well.  And his memory is incredible.  He remembers things we talked about, things we did, places we went to, ... everything.  He absolutely loves to play sports.  You give him a ball and he's happy as can be.  He plays soccer, basketball a little bit, tennis, golf, and hockey.  But probably kicking/soccer is his favorite.  His new favorite movies/TV is Dora, Diego, the Wonder Pets, and The Backyardigans.  He even plays the video games on the nickjr.com site.  He talks to people on the phone now and it's very cute.  He seems to understand it and has a full conversation with them.  He is such an entertainer.  He jsut loves getting people's attention and making them laugh. And he has gotten so much more friendly and outgoing with other people.  Instead of hiding all the time, now he'll try to play with them or make them laugh.  And he loves playing with other kids now.  He'll go up to strangers at a park wanting to play with them.  So needless to say he loves playing with all the kids on the cul-de-sac.  And most importantly he loves playing with Gianni and makes him laugh and gives him toys to play with and shares great with him and is always very nice to him.  He's really done a great job with Gianni and always has.
